Welcome to Longmont Peak Dentistry – Where Your Health Comes First
Dr. J. Craig Pinkner brings decades of experience, technical precision, and an artistic eye to the practice. He earned his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Baylor College of Dentistry (now Texas A&M College of Dentistry) in 1989 and has spent his career delivering thoughtful, high-quality dental care with a strong focus on patient comfort and long-term health.
What drew Dr. Pinkner to dentistry was the unique blend of science, technical skill, and artistry. He values the problem-solving side of dentistry just as much as the opportunity to create beautiful, functional outcomes. Whether he’s relieving a patient’s pain or helping someone feel excited and confident about a cosmetic result, his goal is always the same—to provide care that genuinely improves quality of life.
Dr. Pinkner finds the greatest satisfaction in seeing patients feel better, both physically and emotionally. He believes trust is the foundation of great dentistry and takes pride in helping patients feel comfortable, informed, and confident in their treatment decisions.
Outside of the office, Dr. Pinkner enjoys traveling, snow skiing, boating, and spending time outdoors. He’s an avid sports fan who follows all Denver teams, including the Nuggets, Avalanche, Broncos, and CU sports. He also values time with his family and enjoys exploring everything the Boulder and Longmont area has to offer, especially the proximity to both the mountains and the city.
Dr. Pinkner is married to his wife, Melissa, and together they have two children, Ella and Finn. Their family also includes Brody, an Australian Cattle Dog who keeps life active and entertaining.
A fun fact patients may not know—Dr. Pinkner once lived and worked in Guam, and earlier in his career, he also practiced in Apple Valley, California, where a famous patient, Roy Rogers, sang to each office team member on their birthday.
Above all, Dr. Pinkner wants his patients to know they can trust him. His philosophy is simple: always do what’s best for each patient’s mouth, teeth, and overall health.
